Hi Guys,
It looks like I have some time before I can book my hotel. So I might as well make sure I am booking the right one!
So far Dessert Inn is winning.

Our family consist of 5, myself, DH, DD16, DD15 and DD14
Priorities in order of importance
1. Close to park
2. Two bathrooms
3. Cost
4. Pool/Breakfast (this is a tie)

So what are the options for a bigger family with teens and 2 bathrooms, close to the park

We were at Desert Inn and Suites from Monday thru yesterday. We had a family suite that consisted of two double queen rooms connected. It worked very well...I really wanted two full bathrooms, which this hotel had. The breakfast wasn't anything to write home about. I was very glad we made a grocery stop and bought stuff for our own breakfast! The pool wasn't what I would call 'inviting'. We all brought suits but never used it. The chlorine smell as we walked by, was really strong!!
Would I stay here again? Yes. It served the purpose, for a decent price.

It's not two bathrooms, but the rooms at the Grand have separate vanity and tub/toilet areas. There were three of us and it worked pretty good. One in the shower, one doing makeup over the sink, and one doing hair at the mirror in the room.

No breakfast, but great pools.

My family of 5 insists on 2 bathrooms, too. We usually stay at DI&S, but on our last trip I found that 2 rooms at Tropicana were cheaper on our dates than our usual suite at DI&S. If you stay 5+nights at Tropicana they give you $20 off per room per night for most dates. They were very accommodating about giving us connecting rooms, I just called a couple times in advance to make sure the request was on the reservation.

Trop doesn't have breakfast, but with 2 refrigerators we were able to keep groceries in the room. We also found it to be quieter than DI&S, and the pool far superior.

The new Residence Inn Anaheim Convention Center on Katella is scheduled to open in July, but they haven't started taking reservations yet. They have 2 different room layouts with 2 bathrooms...a kids suite with a separate kids-themed room with bunk beds and an attached bath, and also a larger 2 bedroom/2 bathroom room. You can find room layouts on the marriott site by selecting "all hotels" at the top of the page, instead of "available hotels". I hope to stay there if they open in time for our July vacation.

We don't travel much so we just splurge for 2 adjoining rooms at the Fairfield Inn since we are familiar and comfortable with that hotel.

The Hyatt has 2 bedroom suites that have a bathroom in each. There is a king bed option or queens. They have a dedicated shuttle. They are one of our go to properties we like to book. I've never stayed in one of the suites but have stayed in their double queen rooms 6+ times in the past 3 years.

Agree with above. We have done 2 joined rooms at Fairfield inn - gives 2 full bathrooms but no breakfast and pool just ok.

The new courtyard marriott has standard rooms that sleep 6 and sort of have 2 bathrooms (1 shower, 1 bath/shower etc) they have an awesome pool area.
