Hotels on I95 for family of 5

Hello,

We will be making our first drive to Orlando in August (me, DH, DD18, DS13, DD9) from Rochester, NY. We're stopping in Jacksonville on the way down and I found a Holiday Inn and Suites that fits all of us. I would like to stop somewhere around Emporia/Petersburg VA on the way home - but can't find any hotels that fit 5. Any suggestions? I would like something right off I95, about 12 hours or 13 max from Orlando.

Try the Country Inn & Suites in Petersburg VA. I find the Country chain to be really nice hotels. We stayed here once and got the one bedroom suite for our family of five. It had two queen beds and a sofa bed. The bedroom is actually separated from the living room and the rooms lay outs are really similair to Embassy Suites. There was plenty of space for all 5 of us. Though, generally the five of us (2 adults, 18 year old, 15 year old, 11 year old) can squeeze into a standard room since were only there to sleep for one night while on the road. Bring air beds.
