Hotels off property around Downtown Disney

Hi guys, does anyone know of any or have a list of hotels around downtown Disney that would be easily walkable to and from? Thanks for any help!

The quickest walk would be from the Hilton. Next closest would be the Wyndham. Then the Grosvenor, then the Holiday Inn, then the Royal Plaza. I would say the Doubletree and Best Western probably take about the same amount of time. It took us about 10 minutes to get to the marketplace from the Holiday Inn.

You can walk from all of them, it would just take longer from some than from others. Once again, that complete list:

The Hilton
The Holiday Inn
The Hotel Royal Plaza
Doubletree Suites
Best Western
Grosvenor
Wyndham Palace

And actually, these are considered on-property. They just aren't Disney owned. The closest off-propert I believe is a Doubltree Club? I know it's a Doubletree. In fact, if you stay at the Hilton, you have Extra Magic Hour privleges.

We stayed off property a few times at the comfort inn lake buena vista. I have not been back there for 5 years but we really liked it. It is very close to downtown disney and the highway. It is great for eating off property... lots of food choices - cici's pizza, taco bell, olive garden Mcdonalds's etc. Like I said, I haven't stayed there in a few years but I used to recommend them to anyone on a budget. We just got back today from Pop Century and I can say that if I were going to have to pay the higher rate I would have chosen the comfort inn. I was lucky to get the value rate of $77 a night a the pop but otherwise - we most likely would have stayed at comfort inn for $54 a night. We really are never in the room anyway, so the room and hotel for us is usually just to sleep and recharge. We have never used the pool at the comfort inn and sadly, I have to say the same for the Pop. I can't remember the last time we used a pool in Orlando! LOL! You could walk to downtown disney, we have done t before but it is a quite a walk. Anyway, I hope this helps - I know that some here hated the comfort inn but I don't know why. We stayed last night for one night at the clarion airport hotel because we came in from NAples before flying out of Orlando this morning. We wanted the convenience of staying close to the airport as we had to be there by 5:30 AM! Anyway, It was nice to be close but we won't be staying there again, ever! It was not nice at all.
