Does anyone know of any hotels near to the airport?
Our package doesnt start until the 8th, but we're flying in on the 7th.
Preferably something cheap, as we are just staying one night before being picked up and taken to the Polynesian.

Try using priceline.com or hotwire.com if you are not picking, but you can still request how many stars you want (1-star hotel, 2-stars, etc). I got the marriott renaissance hotel for 35$ the night before our cruise...and it was the highest, 3-star i think.

Good luck!

Hi! We're staying right at the Hyatt inside the airport. It's a little more pricey than some of the others ($35.00 - really Sherry?) but we're using Disney transfers and they'll pick up the luggage from the hotel in the morning. There is a special on right now for $99/night. Husband booked it, I would have shopped around for a better rate, but I never interfere when he wants to do some of the arrangements!!! Can't beat the convenience.

Hope that helps.

Yes, $35 for the renaissance and add the $5 or so fee, come to about the early $40s with taxes. We are doing happy limo, since i got a better rate using them from airport to port canaveral to WDW back to airport, than the price of transfers for three of us, and more convenient, otherwise i would have gone for the hyatt as well :-)

Thak you..price line is a very good idea seeing that Im really not picky.
Just need somewhere to sleep.
We're cancelling our transfers and going with yourride.net
I was given a great price to have them pick us up at an airport area hotel, drop us off at The Polynesian...pick us up a few days later at the Poly and take us to DCL. Then pick us up from DCL on the 15th and take us to the airport.
For 10 of us (possibly only 7..I think the other 3 want to keep their transfers) the grand total is only $250.00 ....and includes a 30 minute stop at the grocery store on the way to the cruise ship.
Our friends, a family of 4 had a 252.00 charge for transfers....we can get all 10 of us for 2 dollars cheaper and not have to be shoved on a bus.

Thanks again..I'll try priceline!

You may want to start out lower on Priceline...we were once fortunate enough to get the Renaissance for $28. In the $25 range, we've gotten two LaQuintas...one is very nice, and the other is not the best, but it was fine for one night. We've gotten the Amerisuites via Hotwire for $33. Check out www.biddingfortravel.com to see what people are currently paying so you will have an idea on a good bid amount.
