Southern California Hotels in SD central to Seaworld, safari park @ legoland

Hi we will be in San Diego feb 28-mar 6 I want what are some reasonable rate hotels that are close to everything? What are some must not miss things to do in San Diego?

Legoland is 30 miles north of Sea World and Safari Park is 20 miles east of Legoland. Figure out the other things you want to do, pick the hotel closest to those things, and plan on driving to the other 2 parks.
