Can any of you recommend hotels near the parks that have 2 bedrooms and usable transportation to the parks?

Transportation to the parks is not great for offsite hotels. Usually it is best to have a car when staying offsite. The only non Disney hotels I know of that have continuous transportation to the parks are the Disney Springs hotels:

Most of those are standard hotels though, and won't have 2 bedrooms. The Doubletree Disney Springs is an all suite hotel and does have a limited number of 2 bedroom suites. (Most are 1 bedroom suites.)

I personally wouldn't stay anywhere other than Disney Springs or the Bonnet Creek resorts without a car ...

but check this one out. I think you'll have to contact them to find out exactly their shuttle schedule. We have stayed here in a 2 bedroom, really enjoyed it, loved the breakfast and you can walk to other restaurants and grocery. It is just outside Disney Springs so a short uber/taxi ride there.

Well I am staying at Homewood Suites Lake Buena Vista because I intend on using the Lynx buses. I have lived in Orlando before for an 8 month period and used buses daily. They have two bedroom suites and provide breakfast and some evening meals. I leave a week from today - so will let you know how it goes. They also have a hotel shuttle but as others have said usually the hotel shuttle transportation is somewhat limited - this is why I am choosing lynx as the buses are every half hour usually. The cost is $2 per person per trip. Day passes ($4.50) and weekly passes ($16) are also available.

Completely forgot Homewood has 2 bedrooms .... and I've stayed in they a few times. The extra meals are a perk!
