We booked Embassy Suites by Hilton Ft Lauderdale. Know nothing about it personally. But seems to have good reviews. It’s only 1 night anyway.

It's been awhile, but the Embassy Suites was nice when we stayed. The breakfast and reception were good and rooms clean. IIRC, there was an Outback walking distance.
