Hotel within walking distance to Universal Studios?

There are 3 on site hotels within walking distance which I consider a 10 minuite walk. All are serviced by a free boat. In my opinoin the hard rock is the best, but visit their web site and see for yourself. Everything off site is a hike of a 1/2 mile or so, not unduable but after a long day in the parks I wouldn't look forward to it. There is a hotel row just noth of the park with a holiday inn that looks pretty close but is still a hike. My advice? Stay onsite or take some form of transportation....TAZ

The offsite hotels that are closest are the Radisson Universal and the Holiday Inn Universal. There are many hotels in the vicinity but the walk is quite a haul. The onsite hotels are a breeze to get back and forth from and have the added perk of "Universal Express" which allows you practically no waiting for rides.
