Good morning all!

We are headed to WDW for the holidays and have set aside 1 full day just to relax and visit all of the resorts to see the Christmas decorations.
Does anyone have a strategy to get this done the right way as far as travel (via bus or monorail or boat). We will be staying off site this year.
We would like to see the Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, Boardwalk, Polynesian and Contemporary. any others worth visiting?

any help and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks & Happy Holidays! :santa:

Tom Bricker has a great Christmas touring strategy for the resorts. Just Google Tom Bricker's blog.

We have done this a few times and it is so worth it. Don't know where you are staying but I would start off at MK, from there you can hop the Monorail to CR, Poly and GF. You can also take a boat to WL then either boat or bus back. Then you could take the bus to BC or YC. (unless you have a car) From there you can walk to all the resorts in that area including the BWI. Even swan and Dolphin if you want. Any other you would have to pretty much take the specific bus except for POP and AOA.

Since they are all monorail access resorts (except for boardwalk and WL) i would just park in the MK lot and take the monorail to any of the ones you want to go to. To get to the WL just take the monorail to the CR and then a boat to WL. Boardwalk would be best to drive to...

The reason I didn't suggest parking at the MK lot is because the OP is staying off-property, so unless they have APs, they would have to pay to park. You're allowed to park at a resort lot that you're not staying at for 3 hours, which should be plenty of time to visit the 3 monorail resorts and WL.

That is how i do it but from reports here as you go into a resort they have been scanning MBs or RFID cards. So i wasn't sure how that will have changed. I am sure they will not turn people away but over busy time we have been turned away and we are staying on property. :)
