Hi
DS has managed to persuade his best mates parents that they need to come to DLP with us for Halloween. The only problem is they have 3 kids. Does anyone know if the hotels in the Val d'europe area have extra put-up beds which are used in this sort of situation...or will they need to book 2 rooms.

Holiday Inn don't normally offer this but we talked with direct and they were happy to consider a Suite with mattress on the floor. Costs was the same as 2 rooms so we did not think it was a good deal.

Explorer is the only one that has the extra option of crew quarters which accomodates extra 2 children in bunk beds, so suitable for family of 5.

Hi,
Expedia are really good at finding hotels for all sizes of parties and before we booked 2 rooms at Hotel Cheyenne their site had come up with all sorts of options - they might be worth a try.

Most French hotel room sizes are designed purely for a family of four (some house only only 3), hence you ARE limited for choice with five or more. Basically, you have only three Disney choices in this instance: Davy Crockett Ranch, where the cabins can house up to six people (but you must have your own transport); two connecting rooms in one of the six hotels; or one of the 15 family rooms, which can accommodate up to six at Newport Bay Club, although these rooms are more expensive and are at a premium, so you would need to book early. Looking outside the resort, the Pierre & Vacances Residence Val d’Europe is an ultra-smart apartment block in the town which can accommodate up to seven, while the Explorers Hotel can take family groups of up to 10. Another worth trying is the extensive Marriott’s Village d’Ile de France property, less than 2km from DLP. The first phase opened in June 2003 and consists of 141 two bed/two-bath townhouses with around 105sq m (1,260sq ft) of living space.
