To cut a long story short, yesterday I booked a room (online) at a plush hotel at an unbelievable rate of £25 per night. I have a printed guaranteed online reservation confirmation and a confirmation email both stating the £25 rate.

I contacted the hotel to confirm the room/breakfast details and they now claim that there isn't a £25 rate -and have offered me a promotional price of £89 - which I have not accepted.

Where do I stand if I turn up with my confirmation number as it stands ?

Tracey,

I take it you mean you booked direct with the hotel online and not through another party, in which case I would say that you have it in writting and they should therefore uphold that rate. Stick to your guns!

Good news ! The hotel have accepted it was a computer error and will honour the booking :bounce:
