Hotel recs in Columbia SC or Orangeburg SC for one night?

Also driving down next month and will be staying overnight at Country Inn & Suites in Orangeburg. :)

Last July stayed at the La Quinta (SE /Fort Jackson) SC one, on an overnight to Florida. Very nice hotel, outdoor pool which we didn't use, nice rooms, internet, parking and decent free breakfast. The location was also pretty much right off the highway, and close to a Walmart and a KFC almost right next door. I reserved the hotel again on our drive down in two weeks for a night. I think I'm paying $86 this time around. Made the second day drive an easy 6-7 hour jaunt to the condo.

We've stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Orangeburg on our trips. Close to the interstate. Restaurants and gas nearby. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were very clean and in good condition. I can't say what their rates are, as we use our points when traveling to and from Florida.
