I really need to make a hotel reservation for my 10/27-10/30 DL trip. I've been reading all the raves about HoJo so I called...The rate would be $107 for a view of the freeway and $116 for a view of the pool...I was thinking for $70 bucks more a night I would stay at PPH. I think I'm reluctant to pay $107for HoJo because I've heard so many people say they got it for much less...Help! Is HoJo worth $107? I'm really picky as far as hotels and I don't want to get there and hate it and then have to try to find a place to stay that will cost twice as much. I know many of you have stayed there so any comments, suggestions, whatever would be great! Thanks!

I am spoiled I like it at 59 or 79 a night. Walk wise to the park is about the same from either hotel.

is that price with the dis board 15% discount? Not that much but its something, did you speak to in house reservations?

The entertainment rate is available for Oct 27th and 28th.

Call back and ask for in house reservations and have them apply the entertainment rate to your reservation. You just need an entertainment card (or AP) to get the rate. You can sometimes buy an entertainment card on Ebay for a couple of bucks. You don't need it until you check in. :thumbsup2

Stayed at PPH a couple of weeks ago. Very nice, very clean and a short walk to DTD. You have the benefits of staying on site, so you can access CA from the GCH and take the monorail to DL.

One of our favorite things about this hotel is the fact that you have a great view of the fireworks from the rooftop, the play the music and everything.
You can get there 10 minutes prior the show, grab a seat and enjoy, very convinient.

Some people complain about the elevators, but on the 6 days that we stayed there, we never had a problem.

Hope that helps!

Also wanted to add, we love Hojos and are staying there for our next trip (starting tomorrow night), even though 5 of our 6 nights will be at $95.20 per night. I considered other cheaper hotels, but we really enjoy Hojos and know it's a nice, clean hotel so I wasn't willing to risk any others.

Thanks...I just called back and they do have the entertainment rate of $69 (2 Queen beds)...Now I feel better about it :) Since I booked 2 rooms that is a good savings...I'm still debating about staying onsite but I need to go over my budget (that I haven't set yet)...Now on to the other zillion things I need to plan for...Thanks again!

If you need an entertainment card (you need one to get the rate) I have one that expires Nov. 1, 2010 that I don't need. I can mail it to you if you PM me :goodvibes

My sister (who's going too) has an entertainment card...Thanks though...very nice of you to offer...
