My mom and sister are headed to Disneyland at the end of March, and have a reservation at Hotel Indigo. However, I was looking at a map, and it seems kind of far to walk. Anyone have any experience?

I have stayed @ the indigo but not walked to the park. Although if you check out tripadvisor.com you can find out from others who have made that walk.
Enjoy your time!

I have stayed there back when it was just a run down Holiday Inn Express. The 15 min walk time is pretty accurate from door to gate. Never did it, but you can also walk over to the Toy Story lot and catch a shuttle bus there.

We stayed there a couple of times last year and walked every time. Its not at all a bad walk. It would take us 10 minutes to walk there in the morning and 15 to walk home after a full day. We enjoyed our time there quite a bit. Its a very nice hotel.

I have stayed right next door a couple times and yes I'd say 15 minutes is probably accurate although I have not timed it. I have done the walk with kids (about 7 years old for the youngest) and it's not bad.. but tiring at the end of the night. The nice thing is that the walk takes you past a convenience store and a Subway and a pizza place!

I stayed at Hotel Indigo last summer before I moved to the area. I walked to the parks for 4 days, and never complained. I'm an open to close type, so I had some very long days in the parks before heading back to the hotel. Not a problem at all. People often suggest walking over to the Toy Story lot to catch the shuttle to the park. But in reality, this will take longer. The shuttle stop is in the center of the lot, and it's about a 12 minute walk just to get there. Add the wait and the ride to the park, and you are looking at a trip of at least 20 minutes.

Here's my review of Hotel Indigo from last year:

We also liked going to that pizza place but the mexican joint in that little strip mall was awful !!
