Hotel help, please!

Ok, I stayed at the Disneyland Hotel last year - it was fabulous, except I hated having to walk so far to get to the park entrances. We're planning to go again next February, and I'm debating on whether or not to splurge and stay at the GCH (still a walk, but not as long as from the DH) or stay at the Best Western Park Place Inn or the Desert Inn and Suites. Help! Thanks.

I've stayed at both the GCH, BW and Desert. If you want to splurge, the GCH
is absolutely beautiful. It is totally worth it to stay there once. Plus, you get a private entrance into DCA. BW and Desert are also good choices and right next to the crosswalk. However, they have small pools. If you still want to stay at DH, the monorail will be able to take you in to DL, so that should cut down on walk time.
