My son is getting married in July. His fiancee and her wedding party have reserved a hotel room for the night before the wedding to stay and dress for the wedding the next day. I would like to put together a "goody basket" to drop off for the bride/bridesmaids to enjoy. They get a continental breakfast in the morning, so I don't need much breakfast foods. However, I am concerned since the wedding isn't until 3:00 that they "eat something" to tie them over until dinner at 7:00. Don't won't them dropping like flies because they didn't eat--wouldn't be a good thing!
Anyways, I was thinking along the lines of bottled water, fruit, snacks, pop/soda, wine, cheese, crackers, etc. They will have a small refrigerator in the room and a microwave.
I was also thinking maybe a nice body wash, lotion (hotel stuff isn't always great), etc. I believe the hotel has a DVD player so I was trying to think of a real "girly" movie for them to watch as well.
Does anyone have any ideas of what I should include or what I should stay away from? I just wanted to surprise them with something to "pamper" themselves.
Also, I am planning on the same thing for the newlyweds too. They have the same hotel booked for the night of the wedding and the following night. What sort of things can I include in a "romantic" basket?
