I'm sitting here, trying to get some work done at home, and of course have the TV on  WE is having a Roseanne marathon and they're showing the episodes when they went to Disney. It shows them arriving and eating breakfast in what is presumably a Disney hotel room-- is it supposed to be a specific hotel (I was thinking GF) or is it supposed to be generic/not real? Just curious if anyone knew! Google didn't help much.

I always thought it was a generic TV show type "perfect location/perfect everything" fake hotel. I don't remember them ever saying the name of the hotel either, which furthers my believe that it's supposed to be fake.

WE actually stayed on the hall next to the Yellowstone Suite at WL after it was filmed-years ago.
Roseanne stayed in that suite while filming was going on. The maid was cleaning it-and I begged a passing bellhop to give me a tour of the suite.:)

Not sure of answer of your question, tho;)

I always thought it was the Contemporary as well.

It has been awhile since I seen that episode and I just noticed the bellboy is McSteamy from Greys Anatomy :)

That is the Hyatt Grand Cypress. It is just off WDW property on CR535. If you are driving West (South) on I-4 you can see it off to the right in the idstance as you are crossing over SR-535.

Hmm, seems like there are different ideas!! PP who thinks it's the Hyatt, why are you so sure??

I gotta agree with cheshire figment, it is not the Contemporary. While I am not 100% certain that it is the Hyatt, I am pretty sure that it is, so I'm going with cheshire figment on this.

It's either the Hyatt Grand Cypress or the Hilton Hotel on Hotel Plaza blvd. Definitely not the Contemporary.

I've always wondered why they didn't film at one of the Disney resorts like they did the Full House episode.
I loved seeing the Skyway when they were in the Magic Kingdom. And when Mark was mad at Becky for looking at Goofy.

I've never seen the Roseanne episode.

We have the Full House one saved on our TiVo and our kids watch it all the time.

Old Key West was used by Step by Step

In case anyone is curious, this is the hotel from the Roseanne episode:

Definitely the Hyatt Grand Cypress, I think!

We were entering MK when they were filming a short scene for that one-all the kids were rushing into the park and throwing their coats to the Dad to carry and he got loaded down.:)

OK i just watche the Rosanne clip-that room is WAY too big to be ANY disney hotel-LOL!

The Hyatt Grand Cypress is lovely! I want to see that episode again.

I always thought it was the Hyatt Grand Cypress too. It looks like it. Love that hotel.

The hotel rooms interior was a set, built on a sound stage, not any place real.

I remember the full house episode! I remember thinking, "oh sure, they are sitting at the sea food reastaurant right next to the aquarium window.. like any of US would ever get that!"

little did I know! (we had only gone once, at that point.) since then, we have been seated twice next to the tank!

oh yeah! MaryKate/Ashley was chosen to pull the sword out of the stone. me "yeah , right! that would never happen for us!" I was twice on the stage at Indiana Jones, Hubby once, the boys were chosen for the old "superstar television", one of the boys for "earthquake" (oops, wrong park!).
I love the new comercial for APPS (not sure which company), but, while mom is trying to figure out her slow APP, with 2 kids waiting impatiently, Dad is riding Dumbo my himself!!:rotfl:

I love the Coral Reef!! Last time we went, we went SCUBA diving in the tank, twice! The APP commercial is for Verizon.

I looked up pix of the Hyatt and it doesn't look anything like it. Maybe they rebuilt. LOL!
