Hotel choices for November

My reservation for Candy Cane Inn was just canceled. I'm regretting not booking an alternate option. We are planning to go Nov 10-14 and there are 5 of us, 2 adults, 3 teens. We can always bring an air mattress for the youngest. I'm having a hard time deciding where to stay now. Many of the "go-to" options I see mentioned (Park Vue, Fairfield, BWPPI) are either booked or priced too high. I'm now looking at The Anaheim, Castle Inn, Hojo, or Anaheim Majestic. Any thoughts? I've never stayed at any of them. We like walking distance or at least a shuttle if not. We'll be at the park open-close. Any other ideas?

I was going to try Anaheim Majestic due to the dedicated shuttle but it had too many low reviews recently. I’ve stayed at the Anaheim Hotel when it was something else which for the life of me I can’t remember. Anyway stayed there a few times and it was great. I’d say the walk is equal to the HoJo jist from the other direction. It’s a solid choice. I don’t do HoJo anymore for personal reasons related to customer service. I’ll be staying at Castle next month for the first time. I’ve seen a lot of raves about it and it’s always been in my list of possibilities just never got a chance to stay there.

Grand Legacy at the Park has a Premier 2-queen (near the back of the property, so not so noisy as near the rooftop bar near the front) for like $209 per night if you prepay, for your dates. They're nice and close. I haven't stayed there myself, but they get pretty good reviews as long as you're not at the front near the bar.

Hojo has been our go-to for years. The rooms are pretty spacious, so you would be able to fit an air mattress in one of the rooms that has 2 queen beds. Like pp said, the walk is about equivalent in distance to the Candy Cane walk just not as pleasant atmosphere-wise which matters to some people though obviously not us.

Our candy cane reservation got cancelled for November too. Major bummer. We had a back up at Camelot Inn. We like that we can get a room with a sleeper chair since my kids don’t enjoy sharing a bed anymore. Camelot and Tropicana are the same owners.

We had a not so great stay at the Anaheim hotel and will not be going back. The room maintenance was a huge issue for us. We had exposed tack board from the carpet and the bathroom was yucky. And the paper thin walls (we could hear our neighbors phone vibrate all night when they got texts through the walls).

We love hojo and love that it is a hotel, not a motel. That is always one of the first places we check. Be aware that parking used to be free but now they are charging for it.

We recently stayed at castle inn. It was much nicer than we expected! I would stay there again. I wouldn’t want to stay more then 3 nights though as the beds weren’t the most comfortable. But it was super clean and great customer service. Free parking.

We also recently stayed at the Alpine Inn and were so pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. We loved it. We got a suite with a king bed and two queens. Worked perfectly for us. And they have free parking!

Try Best Western Anaheim Plus Inn. They have a few different suites that have a separate bedrooms. There's a 1 king/ 2 queen and I think the other one is 2 doubles and 1 queen. I'm pretty sure they have a small sitting area, too. I bet there would be space for an airbed in the suites.
