Hotel choice for Disneyland 1/2 in January

I am looking for a hotel for 7 people (2 adults, 5 kids) January 12-16, 2024. We normally stay at the VGC but they were gone on 11 month opening day. I have reservations at BW Raffle but I'm nervous it's just too far for the race. Is there a better option?
