We are staying at the Sequoia Lodge this December, and clearly we will have our passports on us for flying.. However when we check in at the hotel will we need them, or will our Military IDs work?
Will they check the children's passports too? At all?

Thanks!

When you check in you'll be asked to sign and fill in your details, you'll need to provide the lead passengers passport number, but you won't need the rest. My family are often away wandering shops and stuff when I check in and they've never asked to check the kids details or others in our party.

I'm not so sure about that since, being French and speaking without accent, I'm rarely asked for ID at any hotel in France.

The only time at DLP (in 30+ stays) was in the Davy Crockett's Ranch, where the cast insisted of requiring two IDs because we were more than 4. My wife and I debated, and we decided not to fight, although we found this request pretty peculiar.

I had to provide my passport number when checking into Hotel Santa Fe in May.

Thought I'd just update this as things have changed - Hotel New York this week - asked for passport number for everyone over 15 and also asked them to sign an ID form.
