Ok, so I know if you stay on site at one of the three hotels at Universal you get early entry to HPW and the express pass thing, but do people who stay at other hotels nearby get this too? I mean, if so, it doesn't seem the benefits are that exclusive if so. What gives?

If you stay at an offsite resort and you booked the package through www.universalorlando.com you get the early admission perk but not the express perk. If you just stay at a partner hotel but didn't book a package through universalorlando.com, you get no perks.

The express passes can be purchased for a hefty amount if you don't stay onsite, so they aren't totally exclusive, but most people don't want to spend an extra $50/day/person to buy the express pass.

Express passes that you purchase are different then the ones you get as a perk for staying onsite.

Difference is that the "bought version gives you to 1-express pass per ride. You can only use it once per ride.

The Hotel Perk one gets you unlimited express passes per ride. You can get off the ride and go back on using the express pass again if you want to.You ca use it over and over again on whatever ride you wish (That its accepted at of course)

You can purchase express passes that give you one ride per ride and you can also purchase the unlimited express pass. It is just more expensive.

unlimited express is at the bottom of the page...it can be bundled with admission or purchased separately at the parks.

One of the other exclusive thing is how convenient it is staying onsite. :thumbsup2

Beside unlimited express, early entry and convenience, the resorts are incredibly beautiful. Not saying the partner hotels aren't incredibly beautiful since we have never stayed at any so have no knowledge, but the onsite resorts are very deluxe.
