Hotel availability

Just for fun, i went online to see if there were any price drops for my week in October. I have a res. at AoA for a cars suite but would really like a monorail hotel.

Only wilderness cabins and pop are showing any availability on site.

Doesnt seem right to me. I would think there would be some availability.

What dates are you looking for? There is a large convention around the week of the 21st that is taking up alot of rooms.

Also, the Food & Wine and Halloween Parties are very popular.

There is a huge convention happening from Oct 21-26, most rooms are sold out.

Also Columbus day is a federal holiday.

Lots of reasons for October to sell out.

I'm going to be at GF from October 21-30 -- what huge convention will be there and will it be seriously overcrowded?

It's the Gartner Symposium, an IT/tech conference that is huge. I would imagine that it will have some impact on crowds, particularly in the restaurants.

Also, they are having a private event at DHS on Oct. 23 which is why DHS closes early at 6pm that evening.
