Hot Tea for a head cold....

I have a bad head cold and I was just thinking about how good hot tea would be..... does starbucks have a good hot tea? What other places or what brand of tea is good .... I will send DBF to the store just need to know where.... thanks for the help../
P.S. any other cold remedies are welcomed...

They have a good peppermint....you could also have hot water with honey & lemon.

My absolute favorite for colds is just a simple orange or lemon spice tea (from the grocery store), with more sugar than you'd normally use, a splash of lemon, and (this is very important!) a splash of bourbon whiskey. BEST remedy ever! (Plus it will help you sleep!)

I agree with this one!! Good stuff

I don't care for Starbucks tea. They use Tazo and it just tastes... almost... dry? I really don't know how to describe it, but I just don't like it.

I like to take plain old Orange Pekoe and put a candy cane in it. It's a favorite of mine around this time of the year

I like Celestial Seasonings lemon tea... I'm a huge tea drinker, but this is my favorite when I have a cold.

The other thing I really like when I'm sick is boiling some water (or heating it... doesn't have to be boiling) and then mixing in some powdered sweetened iced tea mix.

When you send him to buy the tea, tell him to pick up some Vicks VapoRub. I swear by that stuff.

If you have a scratchy throat, you could treat yourself to a Starbucks chai latte. They are wonderful! Be sure to add lots of cinnamon! When my allergies go insane, nothing else soothes my throat as much.

Celestianl Seasons Red Zinger is great for head cold, sinus pressure. Add honey & lemon.

Thank you all for your info.... I bought the celestial seasonings cinnamon apple spice, and I added honey... it is GOOD.....
