Horse-Trail Rides

Are the trail Rides worth the money and time? I have read it is about a 45 minute trip for about $23.00 a person. Is it nice and good to do at least once?

I may be wrong, but I think we paid around $30.00 per person. My kids were not impressed with it. It was just a walk through the woods. They said they wouldn't do it again.

As a former horse owner I personally think the price is high for a 45 minute ride. You can only walk the horses, no trotting or cantering. If your kids have never ridden a horse before they may enjoy it , if they have ridden before you may want to save your money.

We did this ride on Dec. 19th 2005. The cost was 42.00 per person, there is an age requirement of 9 or older as well as a weight requirement of 250 lb or less.

We have no expereince with riding horses and we would do it again. It was a walking pace trail ride for approximately 1 hr. Some of the horses were wanting to stop to eat the bushes and some horses walked faster than others so you'd have to stop and wait for the others to catch up. My horse, Romeo was rather entertaining. He did not like to slow down or stop and was in a bit of a hurry. Perhaps Juliet was still at the stables and waiting for him. All I know is it was a good one for the memory books.
