Hi All,

I was hoping someone out there could give me some information on the horse carriage ride I've read about a couple of times. We are staying at POFQ at the end of April, and I'd love to take my daughter on this ride, I know she'd love it. Does it go from POR or POFQ? Do I need to make reservations, and if so, how do I do this?

Thanks for any help you can give me!!

Kim

We did this last year and loved it. It went through POR and over to POFQ and back. We weren't even staying at POR but took a cab over from GF and did the carriage ride and then went to the River Roost Lounge. I called WDW-PLAY and made the reservation. At that time it was 90 days out, I'm not sure if it changed or not. Have fun!

We did this last July and we all loved it! Like Robyn, we called 90 days out to the same # as the dinner ressies. It starts at POR by the dock behind the food court and main building. We chose the first ride of the evening (6:00) and had plenty of time to make our 7:30 ressies at Ohana using Disney transportation.

Thank you everyone for the information - I will call today and cross my fingers that I can get a late reservation!

We enjoyed it too! Went for the latest ride... 8pm I think. We had such great time...great weather...sooo romantic :-) hehe

Loved it-would do it again!

Does anyone know what the approximate cost for the carriage ride is? I think my family would love it!

We paid $30 (plus tip) last July! You'll love it!!!

reservations are a must.. I know in October when we did it.. people were hoping some didn't show so they could go for a carriage ride.. its really neat.. very nice.. something so different... you can say you did in Disney.. we also paid 30.00 plus tip!

Can you please tell me how many people fit in the carraige.....we are six and this might be fun to do.

Thanks.

CALLED THE OTHER DAY FOR A RIDE IN MAY AND THE PRICE IS NOW 35.00, AND WE TIP 20% FOR A TOTAL OF 42.00. WELL WORTH THE MONEY. WE DID THE RIDE LAST MAY.

Is it $35 per person plus tip?

I want to go with my hubby in June.

Thanks,

Jodi

No, it's just $35 regardless of how many people you have.

I just called yesterday for the end of April and was able to get a reservation - I'm excited I think my DD will really have fun!

you might could fit 6... I know you can fit 4! When we went on a carriage ride.. it was a double seater like.. 2 seats that face each other if you know what I mean... so I know 4 can fit.. I am just not sure on 6. You might call and see!

Officially I believe it says 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children, but it might be just 3 adults.
