Are there any advantages of staying onsite for the Halloween Horror Nights? ie front of the line??

No, hotel Express Pass is not valid for HHN.

You have to buy the separate EP for the event.

They do have a hotel guest entrance, to the right of the main entrance and is signposted. It’s open till either 8pm or 8.30pm. Saves you going through the regular line when park opens to regular guests. It’s quieter.
