Horror films and the macabre

As stated in other threads we will be in hollywood in march and heading north to SF.

My question is are there any horror or macabre Hollywood attractions? I would love if there was a horror studio tour but i don't think there is such a thing. We'll probably check out Ripleys, and maybe Hollywood Forever.

Any other ideas for Macabre Hollywood?

Try Grave Line Tours for a look at macabre Hollywood. Also, when my brother went to UCLA, I'd come up for San Diego and we'd visit Westwood Village Memorial Park, home to the graves of Marilyn Monroe, Natalie Wood and other celebrities. It's tucked away behind office buildings, but I think it's near the intersection of Wilshire and Westwood boulevards. It's worth a visit for Marilyn alone, IMO.
