I'll take this opportunity to say how I wish they didn't remove the magic shop and penny arcade from Main St.

That and the theater. Main Street is so dull now.

Why all the negativity towards the OP? She was simply venting about something.

Closure of a shop is "horrible start" creating heartbreak. What happens when a ride breaks down? I assume the entire vacation will be ruined

Truer words were never spoken. I do feel bad for the 7 year old, but its up to the parent to make sure that it doesn't get blown out of proportion.

Exactly. And judging by the wording of the OP and the threads title, this kid is learning very young to let things get blown out of proportion and to make everything a big freakin deal. Sure kids get upset. I'm not mocking or doubting that. But usually in ten minutes they are WAY over the situation. They are just like puppies: always chasing after the next shiny thing.......

Taking the time to post this while on vacation smacks of dramatics. And I can guarantee that the kid has picked up on this type of parental reaction.
