Hormones Run Amok!

How many of you are parents of a tween or pre-pubescent?

OMG, she's driving me nuts with the hormones, but it's also so funny. Any time she hears or sees a reference to s-e-x, she giggles like a mad fiend and has to go on and on and on about it. I made the mistake of letting her watch the science channel last night and she got to see lions mating. I still haven't heard the end of THAT.

It was so different with DS, as he was so private with his feelings. She lets it all out!

Please tell me this too shall pass.

Wow, I was mortified if I saw something like that in front of my mom at that age... heck, I still am! Good for you that she's that comfortable with you! All of my giggling took place on the schoolbus with fellow prepubescents!

I don't think my DH is going to live through this. Him and his Catholic school boy sensibilities.
