Hopper transfers?

Hi!

Just wondering what the transferability of the hopper passes is--I'm trying to purchase hopper pluses for our party, and was thinking of buying 7 days...but we might not use all the days, which is ok by me, since I'm sure I'm going again...

The question is that some of our party may not choose to go again any time in the near future. If they wind up with unused days, can they transfer those to others (me?) for when I go again? Or are they locked to them?

Thanks for the info!

"officially" the passes are non-transferable, but since they stopped putting pictures on them you should have no problem using the unused portion of someone else's passes. As long as you don't try to use them the same day as someone else.

When did they ever put pictures on park hopper passes? I know they were there for annuals.

Also, if you buy the passes in advance they will expire 13 days after first use. Passes bought "at the gate" expire within 2 years. Also my guess is that 7 day hoppers cost MORE then annual passes and you may want to look into that.

The first park hoppers my DW and I bought when we moved to Atlanta (93) required us to go to Member Services at MGM (the first park we went to on the passes) and take a picture, which was applied to each of our passes. We have not had passes requiring pictures since that time.

We have purchased park hoppers in advance every time we've gone to WDW and they definitely have not expired 13 days after first use. Unused days never expire.

OOPS! I thought this was from the Disneyland board, which the above is correct. However rumors are that WDW is going to be adopting this same policy.

oh and  back at ya.

Thanks for the info. That apparently occurred during the time we were getting our passes for free at DVC.
