Hoping to return to WDW early May 2012 ~ Opinions please...

DS will be nearing the end of 6th grade and DD the end of 3rd - they have a 2 day school break May 5 & 7.

What can we expect ~ weather, discounts, ?free dining?.... *Compared to October.

One slight problem ~ I might be very pregnant *DH and I plan to TTC this late summer/early fall. We could wait and go next fall; my kids would have another 2 day break mid-late Oct. 2012 (the 18th & 19th) ~ so the kids would be at the begining of 7th & 4th grade *and DD will be 9* We could also possibly have a baby by then ~ that doesn't worry me too much.

We visited WDW early Oct. 2009 ~ it was super hot and humid but we had a fantastic time.

So I guess what I'm saying is ~ when would you prefer to go *if you were my family* early May or mid Oct 2012.

May is hot!!! We live in LA which has almost identical weather, and we are in the upper 90s today... Right now my car thermometer is saying 99, so if you thought it was hot in Oct, I would stay away from may.

October because of the Halloween party. I would assume it is cooler than May. We went the first week of May last year and it was in the high 90s already.

Well we've already visited WDW in Oct and attended MNSHHP..... it'd be fun to do/see again, but it'd also be nice to see the park *MK* in it's regular "form".

Yes early Oct. was hot ~ record breaking, our visit started on 10/1 ~ if we chose Oct. next year we'd be there much later in the month ~ we'd start our visit on the 18th.

I say go for May. We just loved EPCOT flower and garden exhibits. It may be hot but shouldn't be to bad.

I would love to go in May2012 but financially it most likely will be May 2013.

I'd wait for October as well, mainly because I'm partial to the color scheme in October, lol. I love the Flower and Garden festival, but dear goodness, we're already in the 90's down here. It isn't supposed to be this hot right now, seriously.
