Hoping to book Aulani at 7 months for either Thanksgiving or

Christmas week 2020. Due to our adult kids and our work schedule these are the only two weeks we can try to vacation together. I made a post on the Aulani thread but thought I would post here too. We are DVC members but never booked anywhere except at WDW. We are going to be looking for a 2 bedroom, is one week easier or better to try for than the other?

They'll both be a challenge. Be sure to budget for Ocean View. You have zero chance at Standard.

I agree with previous message. Standard will be pretty much impossible either week. Two bedroom ocean views are the most points so they go last. You might also try combos of rooms like a one bedroom and a studio.

In the past, Aulani has usually had nights gone for every category of room for Christmas week at 7 months out, while Thanksgiving has often had Ocean view open and even pool view, particularly if your reservation begins the Friday or Saturday before Thanksgiving.
