Hoping for surprise Anniv Trip in Sept - GCH AP rates possible?

Hi All,
I am totally addicted to DLR and am plotting to maybe pull off a surprise anniversary trip to DLR with hubby. It's our 12th wedding anniv (20 years together total) and we never did anything for our 10th anniv since we had a newborn. We never go away on our own or do adult type things actually.

Anyway, I am usually an offsite gal and not picky about hotels. But Gosh darnit it wouldn't feel like a romantic trip without a romantic hotel and pool. I want it to feel like a grownup trip or DH will miss the kids too much and wish we had gone somewhere else other than DLR.

Soooo . . . . we are AP holders. We would go for 2 nights on the third weekend in Sept. I hear Sept is pretty quiet since school just started. Have any AP holders every gotten a great AP rate that time of year at the GCH (or maybe DLH . . . )? I'm just trying to calculate the chances of pulling this off. I have a feeling it will have to be a last minute booking if we can do it at all.

There were great AP rates last fall for all three of the DLR hotels and I'm holding out hope that there will be great ones again this year. If I remember correctly, the AP4 rates were announced in mid-July.
