Hoping for good things from the waitlist fairy! HH 7/4

Through my own laziness and work stress, finally getting around to making July 4 reservations at HH (...and I own there!). No surprise - no availability! Waitlisted for 1BR.

- What are my chances?

- I was looking at the Vero resort description - seems it might be better for teens (15 yo daughter). Any comments?

HH and Vero are about the same for teens....have one myself....she loves both places.....You would have a much better chance waitlisting for a two bedroom....not many studios and one bedrooms at HH. Good luck.

Well, based on what I thought my chances were at HH, and my need for planning resolution, I have dropped my HH waitlist and booked Vero!

So, thanks to WONDERFUL DVC member services cast member Flo, I now have 6/27-7/6 at Vero in a mix of studio and 1 bdrm rooms, with a mix of points and cash nights. Hooray!

And... I've got direct flights to/from MCO on Southwest!

Bring on the July Florida heat! Oh, that's right - it's not the heat, it's the humidity!
