Hoping for a photo book deal - Where should I upload my photos?

I have some time tomorrow afternoon and was hoping to get started loading my photos and possibly even putting together a photo book. I have never done one but we took several trips with extended family this year and I would like to order several copies of an album to give as gifts.

Where would be my best bet? I am afraid that if I wait for an actual discount, I won't have time to upload the photos and finish the book. On the other hand, I would hate to do all of the work and then not get a discount . . . Someone advise me, please!

Snapfish has a deal right now for 50% off a photobook. Code is RRBOOK. Guess it was some deal with the Rachael Ray show. Mixbook has a deal right now for 50% off too, code is CYBERSALE11, this expires on 11/30. Artscow has some pretty good deals too. Mixbook or Artscow would be my preferences, their books seem to be nicer.

I ordered photobooks online last night at Snapfish and with the code NOVBOOKS it was buy 1 book and get 2 free.

Thanks! I guess snapfish it is! I am guessing the quality of the phto books is pretty standard across the board. I usually get prints from Walgreens, and have used Kodak.com before, too.

One more question - about how long does it take to complete an album? I am sure it depends on the number of pages; how many pages is typical?

Yeah, I found the quality of the books is about the same. I personally do not care for Snapfish's picture quality. I haven't ordered in over a year though, so maybe they've improved, and I don't think the photobook pictures were bad.

How long depends mostly on you. Uploading the pics can take a while. Putting the pics in the book is super easy and really won't take a lot of time itself. It's the creative part, picking your backgrounds, deciding the layout or text to use, stuff like that that takes time. Still, even with all that it's easy to get it done. If you have an afternoon you shouldn't have any problem.

Again the number of pages will be up to you. They start at 20 pages then add price per page (usually a dollar) after that. It will depend on the number of photos you have, how many you choose to do per page, how you lay them out... all very personal to your needs.
