Hopefully a fairly easy MK breakfast question

Right I have a booking for The Crystal Palace at 8.05 am on a day they have early EMH at MK.

I know EMH starts at 8am so am I still able to get into the park early i.e. around 7.40ish so I can get a quick (fairly quiet) pic in front of the castle before my reservation time?

Oh and would I also be able to get an early morning cab to the Contemporary (From the Dolphin), just so I know I'll be getting there in plenty of time.

To answer the cab question, yes there will be taxis available. Uber usually only takes a few minutes to get one, and they're usually much cheaper!

We had a an 8:05 reservation on an 8am opening last summer. They let the breakfast folks in at about 7:45 and we had time for pictures with two photographers before heading to breakfast. We heard the train show as we were heading to the restaurant.

Thanks @happymommy for the cab info, I've never used an Uber before (I am such a newb) also being from the UK would I be able to use the app abroad?

and thanks @Simba07 7.45 is plenty of time for a quick family shot in front of the castle before I gorge myself on waffles lol

I'm not sure about using Uber if you're from the UK, but really a cab shouldn't cost too much anyway!

And just be warned, park hours are subject to change so don't be disappointed if they make that a regular park hour time. A lot of people get really cranky about Disney "ruining" their plans when they change the hours so be warned in advance and have a plan B.

Thanks @loves to dive don't worry have two early MK breakfast ADR (another one for BOG) book, so I should get my (fairly) Empty park pick in front of the castle..

Which means I know that what ever happens to the the Park House I will still get my Waffle gorging in lol

Can you get the Uber app at home? I was just in the UK and France for vacation and I was able to use my Uber there. I would think it would work the other way around.

If you don't have Uber, find someone that does to refer you. You and that person will both get a bonus.

While in Orlando you can also use Lyft, I have read on the transportation board about many people getting codes that make their fares nearly nothing.
