I ordered mine on Friday afternoon -- 64 GB Wifi, black. Now I must wait until early April for it to arrive, but I'm surprisingly feeling rather patient. Heck, if I can count down hundreds of days between WDW trips, I can wait for a couple weeks for this!

I had hopes of getting one on Friday, but it just didn't work out. Checked several places on Saturday and they were sold out. I'll keep checking the various stores this week to see if they got more in. There are two Apple stores along my usual commuting route that would be convenient to stop at on the way home. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I stood in line at apple store at the mall of america begining at 9:30am....we were 8th in line by 5pm when the store reopened there were over 500 ppl in line..we did get the 16gb wifi one....love it! didnt have the original so it's been fun!

I waited in line for about two hours on Friday at our local Apple store. I got there about 4:15 and at that time the line was already 300 ppl plus. I was able to get the black 64G WIFI which is exactly what I wanted

I ordered a black 32gb AT&T model at 5:50am EST on launch day, quoted 3-5 day shipping. Today is (business) day 6 and it's been stuck in "Prepared for Shipment" for two days. Apparently Apple is not very good at shipping things.

Stood in line for 3 hours at the Apple Store in Raleigh, NC and scored two. One for me and one for DH. 64 WiFi Black one for him and a 64 WiFi+3G Verizon for me. I'm using it so much more than my laptop right now. LOVE IT!

We stood in line for 6 hours at Perimeter mall Atlanta. I got a 32gb wifi in white and my husband got a 64gb 3G (AT&T) in white. We were 60ish in line and DH didn't get what he wanted. By the time they got to us they only had 64gb size in AT&T 3G and he wanted a 16gb. Oh well, we figured if he wants to he can sell this one for a premium and order the one he really wanted.

I got a 64gb white wifi iPad 2 on Friday. I wanted took play with one before ordering. Unfortunately, by the time I decided to get one, they were sold out everywhere and apple.com had a 4 to 5 week wait. I was lucky enough to find mine at a nearby Target. They received one overnight and I was there when the doors opened. I absolutely love it.

DH has been waiting for a year to get he second generation. SO he ordered a black 64 +WiFi+3G and then a white one for me the same. We are waiting until April 16 and 22 for their arrival I believe. I also got the orange cover.
