Hope this hasn't been discussed...who saw Bob Seger in game #1 of the WS?

Bob Seger sang "America the Beautiful" before game #1 of the WS on Saturday night. DH really likes his music so I made sure we were watching the pregame. The guy has the worst teeth I have seen in ages! Like Austin Powers teeth! They are really yellow and kind of scraggly. I thought it was distracting. Did anyone else notice this?

You have read my mind. I thought he looked horrible. He needs to see an Orthodontist to get his teeth straightened and buy some of those whitening strips to get the yellow off his teeth. (I'm so nice:) )

We have HDTV and a large flat screen TV so we saw more of Bob Seger that was necessary. Up close and personal was just too up close :rotfl2:

My dad has HD TV and I have noticed that some of our local TV anchors don't look quite so youthful with HD--but I just have plain ol' cable and I was just grossed out. I'm glad someone else noticed! Sometimes I notice things and no one else does and I think I'm losing it.

I know Bob Seger has a few medical conditions. Maybe that is why his teeth are that way? His health is the main reason it was so long between his old music and his new release.

I didn't even know it was Bob Seger, I thought he was Michael McDonald....but yeah, very yucky teeth.

in Chicago went on sale at 10:00 AM Saturday, and sold out within a couple of hours. I guess there are those that are more interested in his incredible talent than the condititon of his teeth.

That would be me!! I am a HUGE Seger fan and I am so excited about his upcoming tour. I saw him back in '89 and then during his last tour which I think was '96 (not to mention other times I stood in line for hours and didn't get tickets). He's going to in Nashville on Dec. 9 and somehow, by hook or by crook (and I don't mean his teeth :teeth: ), I'll be there. Am bummed out I didn't see his rendition of America the Beautiful at the WS. Did see him on Leno about six weeks ago and, yes, he could DEFINITELY use some dental work! But, he is one h.e. double hockey sticks of a singer. ROCK ON, BOB!!!  :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

AND on the phone trying to get tickets Saturday, I wasn't able to get through :guilty: I am SO hoping he'll add another concert since he sold out so fast. I'd hate to pay the prices they're going for on Craigslist now, but probably will if I have to.

Our tickets go on sale a week from Saturday. Wish me luck!!!

Uh yeah. DH noticed that Albert Pujoles had a really big cold sore on his lip when he was being interviewed after the game. He even rewound it and paused it so that I could see--thanks babe! Sometimes HD isn't a good thing. I felt bad for him.

I haven't heard that. He has said for years that he was a stay at home dad and loved it. It is his kids that have begged him to go on tour again.

Two of my favorite things: Bob Seger and the Detroit Tigers.

That may all be true as well. I know that one of his problems was related to his throat.

Rumors about Bob Seger having throat cancer/throat surgery have been rampant since the early 80's. I have never seen anything that confirms that.

I wouldn't care if he had no teeth--Bob Seger was, hands down, the best live performer I ever saw and I've seen LOTS of concerts over the years. I'm sure that the years have taken some toll but years ago, the man had NO equals on stage. He was positively amazing.
