Hope Blackout Dates open for the ones who did not recieved FD Pin!!

What are the chances Disney will open the blackout dates... I wish they would I have vacation scheduled for Nov 9th thru the 12th....and have not recieved pin...I have been praying for free dining and now I feel like I have been cheated

Hi! I am in the same boat. We are booked 10/13 - 10/20 and we are totally blacked out. I have not received a pin code, and I am desperate for FD. I really hope something happens for us!!

My TA told me that they are hearing rumors that Disney may open the blackout dates for Free Dining. That would be awesome, since we arrive on 11/9, 3 days before FD that week. If they do that, tho, I just don’t understand. They offer FD with lots of dates blacked out. Then they send out a Pin Code that doesn’t include the blackout dates. Then they remove the blackout dates? What would the thinking be behind that? Anyway, whether I understand it or not, I am really hoping that they do remove the blackout dates. It would save us over $1,000 this year.

I'm so glad I'm not alone. We are going Nov 6th thru Nov 13th, no pin and all blackout dates. I would be happy with any discount at this point, just to feel wanted.

They are desperate...

If you look at previous years, FD for fall was announced in mid-late august. Between the economy still struggling and the HP park, occupancy rates must be way down.

We are in the same boat-Nov 7-13-folks say it is a dead time at the parks but it was blacked out. We have some members of our family who are flying and purchased tickets months ago to get the best fares, so can't move dates. Fortunately I got the pin back in May that gave the 20/30/40 %discount but we are in a Value resort so the free dining would be worth more than the 20% discount. Waiting and hoping like the rest of you!

Just hold on I really believe Disney will be offering a great discount for your dates.
I booked my vacation back in Feburary at full price hoping for a discount because Disney always gives great promotions.
I went months reading from people that Disney were weaning people off discounts and nothing would be offered fo fall.
Well something did come available and it came sooner than people were looking for it. I just happened to have good dates for FD.

I'm not a rocket scientist or anything but I believe Disney is trying to fill up the slower weeks first. When they do I believe they will be put out an offer for all the blackout weeks.
I feel for all of you that dates were during the blackout for FD. It would have made me sick to my stomach and I would be on pins and needles waiting for a pin or another release from Disney.
So just hold on I believe you will all be in luck, who knows, it may just be right around the corner.

I'm hoping for the 2nd week of Dec to opne up. 2 days we would like to go are blacked out. I hate all this waiting...and then it seems the offers aren't available long either.
