Hi, This is my first trip to Disneyworld and my first post here!

The only reservation we could get for the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue was at 9:30pm. We are staying at POP Century and I know I have to take the bus to MK and then the bus or boat to FW. I am just not sure how to plan out the time.
About how long does it take to from the bus stop to the Revue?
And then, do all the busses and boats run that late after the show?
Will we have any trouble getting back to POP that late?
Should I plan for a cab instead? :confused3

Please help if you can. I love this board. It helped me make the jump from 13 years of just wishing I could go to actually making my wish come true!

Thanks!

When you get off the bus at the MK, go directly to the boat dock and find the boat for FWilderness. It depends on how long it might take.....maybe 45-minutes if you have to wait for the boat, then load the boat, and then cross the lake to FW. The dock is just a very short walk from Pioneer Hall.

Going home, it depends on what time MK closes. I believe the boats run one hour after MK closes. You basically go to the dock and just wait. My experience has been that most of the people will hurry to the dock to get on the first boat they can.

Taking the boat is much easier than taking the bus. You cannot drive directly to Pioneer Hall. You can drive (or take a bus) to the entrance to FtWilderness, but then you have to park your car and get on a bus that takes you to the inside of FW. There are three buses that travel to three different areas of FW, so you would have to get on the bus that takes you to Pioneer Hall. Check out what time MK closes and that will help you figure out the best method.

We also had a Hoop de Doo ressie at 9:30. I forget how long we gave ourselves to get there, but I remember we were not in much of a hurry. And it does take a while. As stated, you take the Boat from the MK dock. Hoop de Doo is the 2nd boat stop. The first stop is for the hotel. From the dock it is an easy walk to the Hoop de Doo venue. Before the show you check in and can have your pictures taken.

After the show, there are three (four?) busses waiting to take the patrons from the last show back to their resorts. Find the bus that is going to your resort (POP) and hop on. The busses will be going to multiple resorts, unlike the regular Transportation busses, so just ask the bus driver if they are going to POP, if it isn't immediately obvious. It might well be standing room only and of course they load wheelchairs first, (or will ask you to move if you are in the wheelchair lockdown area) so everyone will be accomodated. The busses are only there for the 9:30 show, and there are no busses coming after these leave. So don't think, "It's a little too crowded, I'll wait for the next bus."

Enjoy your trip!

Thank you! I just had an image of me, two tired 8 yr olds and a grouchy hubby standing forlorn outside of Disney with no way to get back!

Since we are going in Feb I know that the parks close earlier so I was in a bit of a panic.

Now I guess I will have to find something else to obessess about!

We did the 9:30 show last month. We left MK, right after Spectro at 8:30ish, walked to the boats, and we were at FtW by 8:50. Had lots of time to kill there.
When we got outside, after HDDR was done, we were directed to the bus area where we told a CM what resort we were going to..he put us on appropriate buses and off we went.
