Is the show worth the $$? We have never been to this. Anyone have any opinions on it? :flower2:

We will be going this Thursday night, which is the first night of our vacation in WDW...we go almost everytime we visit the world (usually 2-3 times a year)...I cannot guarantee that you will like it, but I would recommend trying it...The food is good, and there's plenty of it...The beer and sangria is good, and there's plenty of that also (Thank goodness for disney transportation!!)...and the show is fun (albeit a bit corny at times)...but we love it!!

We've always enjoyed it, the show is hokey but good and the food is good as well. I feel the show is worth the price. Once I made plans for my December trip, the first thing I did was to make a reservation for the Hoop de doo.

I just booked it for next year :)

When I made the ressie I was told I had to give CC for it and I would be charged for it now but they would refund $$$ if I canceled at least 48 hours prior. When I told her I was going to be on dining plan she said in that case CC would not be billed now but just took CC# (required to book this) and said I could decide later if I wanted to pay cash/CC or use our dining plan which requires 2 TSMs to be redeemed per person.

I just thought we'd give this show a shot. We've never done it before.
The few responses on it seem positive :goodvibes

We love it. This will be our third time in a row going! Cute, but corny show. Really yummy food. And exceptional all you can drink Sangria!!

We went for the first time last year--and we loved it! Yes, the show is a bit corny, but it is well done & funny. The only thing I didn't love was the strawberry shortcake, but since dinner was so good, I was too full to eat it. The food is very kid friendly---the 2 yr & 5 yr old loved it. I think you'll love it.

I agree.
We went last December for the 1st time and it was great.
The chicken is the moistest I have ever eaten.

We went last week, a group of 10 and everyone enjoyed it! :grouphug:
My son, who's 6 says it was his favorite and thats pretty good since he is a big goofy fan and we went to Chef Mickeys! :rotfl2:
I say try it! We will go back on our next trip I'm sure!

You will have a great time! We just went a few weeks ago and everyone loved it especially my niece and nephew (7 yr old, twins). We will definately go again!

My DH and I went for the first time in November 04. Had a great time!! So glad we went! It was the first night of our stay in WDW and a perfect way to start it off!

We went last summer, DD's 8 & 11 at time loved it! I made a new girlfriend at the show!!! The beauty in the show messed around with me during it and my girls thought it was really cool. (so did I when she kissed me, sorry honey)
:cool1:
Some of our best pictures of my girls are candid shots of them watching the show and the smiles and the true joy they had at the show.

We're planning for next June and the one of the first things they both said was can we go do that again.

So go and have a great time.

We are planning a Magical Gathering for '06. Does this show appeal to all age groups? We will have four kids under age 6, some 20 somethings, a bunch of 30 somethings, and a set of grandparents who are young at heart! Would this be something the WHOLE family could enjoy?

Much thanks! ::MinnieMo

Were doing the show in September and I can't wait. Actually that is the first dinner for us after we check in to the resort.

We're going for the 8th time next June and all I can say is......Yahoo, Hoop Dee Doo !!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We are going for the 1st time on 9-10 my birthday. I have always wanted to see the show, but never had the money. Now with Free dining I get my birthday wish. :Pinkbounc

I suppose not everyone is as easily entertained as we are, but the Hoop Dee Doop Dee Do, as we fondly refer to it, is one of our favorites! The food has actually improved over the years and the corny jokes never fail to make us laugh. And where else can my friend wear her bibs? Go...let out the child within!
