Hoop Dee Doo w/ 2 year old?

Trying to decide if we want to do HDDR with DDs (23 months and 6 years) or just go to Whispering Canyon.
Question is how will the 23 month old like the show? Will it keep her entertained? Obviously, she won't get the corny jokes and I am afraid we will never make it through the show.

Any one experienced it with a young one?

We went with our 2.5dd and 5ds and both kids enjoyed it. I was worried about dd being too young. Obviously she didn't get it, but it was flamboyant enought to hold her attention. And they bring out one course of the meal at a time throughout the show, so she had food to pick at as well. There is audience participation in some of the songs too (hand clapping, ectc.)

We went with our then 1yr old and he loved it. He kept clapping his hands to the music.

We went last Nov. with our then 19 month old son. He did awesome! My advice is to go to the earliest show and make sure your DD gets a nap. My 3 year old nephew passed out after the first course becuase he didn't get a nap that day.

We plan on doing this every visit!

When we went for the first time our boys were 2 & 4, they both LOVED IT!!! I say go for it!! Its great. We have done it several times!!

I totally agree..... definatly bring your 2 yr old!

We went with our then 20mth old (he is 10 now!) and had a terrific time. He loved clapping too...loved the music, and they even gave him spaghetti to eat!
It was a great time for the entire family.

Ditto what the others have said! We took my DD at 27 months and she loved it! She certainly didn't 'get' the jokes, but she laughed anyway, and clapped, and got out of her seat to dance!

We went back to FW a couple of days later to eat at Trail's End and relax a bit. She kept asking where the 'Musics' were. She wanted to dance some more, lol.
