Hoop Dee Doo w/ 2 year old?

Trying to decide if we want to do HDDR with DDs (23 months and 6 years) or just go to Whispering Canyon.
Question is how will the 23 month old like the show? Will it keep her entertained? Obviously, she won't get the corny jokes and I am afraid we will never make it through the show.

Any one experienced it with a young one?

My daughter was 2 when she went to the Hoop-Dee-Doo for the first time. She really enjoyed it. Wasn't fussing at all. She liked all the music and fast pace of the show. No problem with her at all.

We went when all my 3 were that age. No they don't get the jokes but the love the dancing, music, & clapping. I think you'll have fun.

Our DD#2 was 26 months old when we took her to HDDR and she loved it. At first she was a little overwhelmed by all the activity but it didn't take long for her to join in all the fun. Whenever she looked at our pictures from that visit she would always sing "Hoop dee doo, hoop dee doo"

DS was 2 1/2 when we took him for the first time. He LOVED it!!!!! He's now been to the show 4 times, with a 5th coming up in August. We've taken DD (3) every year since she was born. Her first trip was at 3 months old, and she's loved each one! In fact, I think last year's trip when she was 2 was the best. She laughed and clapped and waved her napkin with everyone.

My kids were a little older than yours, but they loved it !!! Just a little warning... it's freezing in there! bring a sweater for the kids (and yourself).

Our waitress was so nice, she gave my kids clean tablecloths to wrap around themselves, and my kids weren't the only one wrapped up either!

Great show, lots of fun.

My boisterous and rambunctious 2 1/2 year old son loved HDDR. It certainly kept his attention. Most of the time he stood up in his chair and clapped and danced. Don't worry, your 2 will do fine!
