Hoop-Dee-Doo vs. Back Yard B-B-Que?

For those of you whom have done both, Mickey's Back Yard B-B-Que or Hoop-Dee-Doo?

We liked being inside at HDDR,bugs were after us at BBQ.Just could have been a bad night and not the norm the children were having a blast at both.

Definitely do MBYBBQ!!!!!! My family found the other show boring. The food was just ok. The jokes were just ok. The show didn't have that much excitement. Unless the show changes we don't plan to do it again. Go for the BBQ!!!

The jokes were corny at Hoop Dee Doo, but it was a fun night. I thought the food was good. There was a family with two children sitting with us. The kids laughed and seemed to like the show alot. (they looked like they were around the ages of 8 and 10) It was well worth the money.

I'm planning to do the deluxe dining plan next year, and I'd like to try a dinner show too.

But I am terrified of hornets, and my children are allergic. I worry when there's food outdoors, that they'll flock to it. I don't want to be bothered by them while I'm trying to eat. Is this an issue at Mickey's BBQ?

yes, MBYBBQ is held outdoors under a pavillion...

personally, we've been to HDDR at least four times in the last five years and *LOVE* it each and every time! every year i do some "surprise" adventure for the kids (and dh LOL) such as a fireworks cruise, fishing excursion, etc and this year we went back to HDDR and they were ECSTATIC!! it was the highlight of their trip, again!
