Hoop-Dee-Doo, Spirit of Aloha Show or Mickey's Backyard BBQ

We loved the Doo. It was very entertaining. I'm sure no matter what you choose it'll be fun!

We have done the Backyard BBQ and the Aloha. I have not done Hoop De Doo, but we preferred the BBQ to the Luau. If you have kids the bbq is loads of fun. The food is good, but the dancing and entertainment is great. The show at Aloha is good, but I thought the food was just OK. Our dd did not like anything they had. Have Fun

Our favorite is the Doo.
We do it each year.
We liked the Aloha quite a few years ago but it has changed and the last time we went we no longer enjoyed it as much.
The Mickey's BBQ we went once, left early and plan never to go back.
Even my 2 grand daughters wanted to leave.
Hoop De Doo in October here we come!

We did the DOO this year and loved it. DD10, DD6, DH and me. Going to do Aloha show next year just for a change. Good luck

We've only done the Luau and the Hoop-dee-doo, and although I liked the food better at the Luau, we all thought the Doo was so much more fun!

We went to the Spirit of Aloha show and thought it was nice - but then we ate at Ohana and the food was soooooo much better quality and you still get entertainment (although not a "show" for kids) (my dh swears that the ribs at Aloha are the same ones at all the counter service places).

I went to Pioneer Hall as a young kid - almost 30 years ago. I still remember it. I'd vote for Hoop De Doo as well and say just eat at Ohana.

We have done all three, but our favorite is the DOO. We have seen that show, I can't tell you how many times, and we still enjoy it just as much every time we go. We put the Backyard BBQ second. That's also alot of fun. We just went to the Spirit Of Aloha 2 weeks ago and enjoyed that too. It was the first time we had seen the newest show. It was very good.

Do the 'Doo'. Everyone has to go to Pioneer Hall at least once in their life.

I think it's just too popular a show for them to give discounts on the early seatings. But don't worry, you could pick up a summer job to cover the cost. How'd you like to mow my lawn?

Disney-bound family could alway use a few extra dollars . . .
And when their finished, they could drop by the Grand Floridian Marina for view of my new Sea Ray, hmm, hmm, hmmm!?

There is a DVC discount to the last Hoop Dee Doo show (I think 20%). We just booked it for an upcoming trip. The last show is at 9:30pm, which is late (especially for the kids), but we booked it for our first night checked in when we still be on West Coast time.

Thanks for the first night idea. We're west coasters too so this will be great for our arrival night.

We saw Hoop-de-do two days ago as the finale for our trip. We laughed so hard I thought my shoes would fall off. It's a great show.
