Hoop-Dee-Doo-Review Question?

We are spending the weekend in Ft Wilderness Cabins (Our 1st time ) My question is this....Is it worth waiting in line 1 hour before the Hoop-Dee-Doo-Review starts? The CM I spoke with when making the ressies said tables are assigned prior to the actual show, but you can make a request when you get there. He suggested arriving an hour early Anyone familiar with this? Thanks for any help

We arrived 45 minutes early because we timed our arrival wrong (gave ourselves too much time to get there!) and we were standing around outside alone.

A CM didn't arrive until about 15-20 minutes prior to check you in and send you to get your family photo. He just stood outside with a mike and asked people to come check in as they gathered. They don't assign you your table until the doors open and you go in. I doubt they would change everyones table around 20 minutes before the show just because someone got there and asked, you know? They would have to redo everything, and people who call really far in advance that got booted because of a last minute request wouldn't be thrilled at all.

I would not get there that early, no. You'd probably be sitting around alone with little to do

I've been the the Hoop de doo several times and I have never gotten there an hour before. Like Aimeedyan we've arrived early due to over estimating our travel time, we were there maybe 35 minutes prior and there were only a few people there. If you get there too early you can go over to the bar at the Trails End restaurant for a drink.

I agree there's no point in going early. And IMO, there really isn't a "bad" table in the place...they all have a great view (and I've sat at just about every one!)

HDD tables are assigned by order of reservation. Arriving an hour early will only allow you to get your picture taken and check out the Pioneer Hall area a little early.

When I made my reservations, they told me to arrive 30 minutes prior to the show.

We also arrived way early because the CM at POR said it was going to take way longer to get there than it did.

I think they tell you that, because they have a little cart set up that you can buy things. I ended up spending alot because the kids wanted glow things, etc.

I would not arrive too early!!!!!!!!

We got told to arrive about a half hour prior to the show. So I will be there around 9pm for the 9:30 show.
