Hoop-Dee-Doo on the Dining Plan question...

We are considering trying Hoop-Dee-Doo in May. We are on the Regular Dining Plan. When we make our ADR will they charge our credit card in full, then refund the amount when we get there and apply the 2 credits? Or do they just use the credit card for a *hold* on the reservation?

If you already have a dining plan on your room reservation, and you call instead of making the reservation online, you can probably get away with just a credit card hold.

We did this last year...they just used our credit card to hold our reservation. Nothing was ever charged to it. It was explained to me that they would only charge the card if we were a no show.

I just booked HDDR with DDP on Sunday. I had to provide my CC# for a hold only. It will only be charged if we don't show up. Same procedure as two year ago when we went.

Hey lblume91, we made our Hoop-Dee-Doo reservations on Sunday also!! I was soooo excited to get to make our ADR's, I didn't think the 180th day would ever get here.
Anyway they only charge your card if you are a no-show!!
