Anyone have feedback on the allergy menu for Hoop-Dee-Doo? I was recently diagnosed with a dairy allergy and really want to take my husband to see it. From what I can see from the online menu, it leaves me with the smoked pork ribs/chicken, coleslaw, and beans (yuck!). I'm hoping they have other options as that wouldn't really leave me much to eat. Thanks.

They could probably get you some french fries. And I'm not trying to be snarky. You could ask for the corn with out butter. And maybe just the strawberries from the strawberry short cake, not sure if there is dairy in the shortcake, if not, then ask for no whipped cream. Otherwise, that is basically the whole menu. You can eat the salad, too. Still a lot you can have!

My wife has a salt intolerance and prior to the night we went we sent an email to special requests and they said they could accommodate. When you check in there is a chef there who will give you the options. They made her grilled chicken and grilled salmon with potatoes and a salad and just strawberries for dessert.

Thank you for your responses. I know I could ask them to not put the cheese in the salad. Glad to hear they will make other accommodations if needed.

We were there a couple of weeks ago and my son is Celiac. They make you check in with a chef before you even enter the restaurant. They know where you sit and they bring special skillets/plates out with the food you are able to eat. They were very accomodating and my son said he was stuffed when we left!!

Just want to add that HDD is probably the most allergy accommodating restaurant...maybe anywhere. The fact that the chef is always outside basically making special menus for the allergy tables before the show starts is just amazing and hope they never change that.

Hi - did they make him the fried chicken and ribs? My daughter cannot eat gluten, that's why I am asking. Disney has amazing gluten free friend chicken.
