We've never eaten here before. We're staying at POP. How much time should we allow to get there via bus to MK & then boat to Pioneer Hall? Also, we don't really like meat on the bone. Could we request part of the vegetarian menu possibly or are chicken nuggets even available (i heard that's a possibility but I'm not sure) ? Any tips/additional information would be much appreciated

I'd give it 90+ minutes. It theoretically shouldn't take that long, but it's possible. It's a bit of a long boat ride, and you may have to wait for the boat. If you're early, you can just look around the grounds a bit.

No less than 90 minutes. We stayed at POP and did the route you are saying .... left a bit early and we still barely made it in time, and that was with our bus at hotel having no wait. Once to MK if a boat issue it can really mess you up.

How committed are you to the boat? I went recently and, while I was at HS that morning so took a bus directly to Fort Wilderness, we had stayed at AoA.

The skyliner from AoA/Pop to HS is about about 15 minutes, the bus ride to Fort Wilderness was another 15 minutes. Then once at Fort Wilderness it's a bus to the back of the resort, let's say another 15 minutes. Rounding up and assuming there could be a wait at any point, it should take an hour from point to point.

Of course, Disney always tells you to give yourself 90 minutes to be safe, although I don't think it's ever taken me even close to 90 minutes to get anywhere using Disney transportation.

Edited to answer food question: They have fish available for those who don't eat meat. There are not chicken tenders/nuggets available to my knowledge. My 8 y/o niece ate an entire skillet of Mac & cheese by herself.

Do they have boneless chicken breasts?

Maybe "hand remove" chicken from bone for those that need the help?
Past attempts did not go well with that.

At home I can take apart a Costco chicken when the two are not present and they will eat the chicken but if they see it with the bone then they are done and will not eat.

Perhaps look at ordering them the vegetarian options, I think they are pasta dishes. I think you just insert that on your ADR so the kitchen will have notification.

Is it best to take the internal bus & then a bus to Hollywood Studios & then The Skyliner when it's over (the dinner show) to return to POP?

Probably so since there are no resort-resort buses

Also if the skyliner is running when you refer to "when over"

FYI, the ribs are on the bone, too. Boneless is not an option.

That's something - do they think that the meat was never on a bone, ever? Actually, a long time ago, a friend of mine moved down here from Masachusetts, and she was mortified by the idea of meat on the bone. Then we got her to try some barbecue ribs! 🤣 That did the trick, and she doesn't mind one bit! 😋 I don't know how the Hoop-De-Doo chicken is, but here if Memphis we've got some fried chicken that might change some minds too! Good luck with it.

No it is just something about chicken. They do eat ribs on the bone it is just something about chicken. I know it is crazy but it is what I have to deal with constantly. Another weird one is no nuts. No nut allergy and DS will eat nuts but can't have nuts in food. This is also annoying but it was great at MNSSHP as I got all of the snickers lol
