I am trying to figure out if we should go to the hoop de doo. My dd9 eats nothing. Will they give her a kids meals? She make it difficult because she only eats a couple of things.

as far as i'm aware there is no alternative though someone may correct me. It is southern fried chicken, ribs, beans with bacon, potatoes with bacon and cornbread plus salad and strawberry shortcake for dessert. I assume there must be a swap for vegetarians. I know our first trip we tried to get ice-cream for our picky DD but were unsuccessful.

Our DS is a vegetarian and they offered pasta. Other than that, I don't believe there are any substitutions as the meal is served family style in buckets.

The vegetarian who travelled with us last May was offered pasta and something else that I can't recall. She said the pasta was good.

You should go to the HDDR because the show is fantastic! My two boys are also very picky and didn't eat too much. Our server was great. He kept coming by and literally picking up their fork and feeding them. They ate! I wasn't going to complain. :)

All in all, food or not, the show is great.

My 2 kids are picky eaters so we ordered chicken nuggets & fries for them when we went to the HDDR. All you have to do is ask your server when you get there-they share a kitchen with the Trails End next door.

My ds is Apergers and is a vegiterian (who does not like many vegatable) and they "rustled up" french fries and grilled cheese. The staff is great, and the show is worth it even with out the food.

As previous posters have said, they have several options for kid friendly food. We have been given mac and cheese, grilled cheese, hamburger, pizza. The servers are very nice and accommodating. They want you to be happy and have plenty of food. If you need a special allergy/food preference accommodation, contact them in advance. If typical kid friendly food will work, then just tell your server when you get there.

My DD had pasta - the server also brought her 'real English chips!'

I think you'll be fine. They do try and accomodate kids food requests but if she eats corn bread (it's the sweet kind), mashed potatoes (no bacon in them this year), and cake she could probably survive on that ;)
